Week 2 Ritual
Clearing the Space
After returning to the breath, we now turn our attention outward.
The spaces we live in often mirror what we carry within.
This is not about perfection or productivity.
It is about creating room — physically and energetically — for peace to settle in.
One small area is enough to begin.
What You Need
-
A quiet moment (10–20 minutes)
-
A small cloth, wipe, or towel
-
Optional: candle, incense, or essential oil
-
Optional: soft music (or silence)
-
A small bag or box for items that feel out of place
The Ritual
Step 1 — Arrive in the Space
Stand or sit in the area you’re about to clear.
Take one slow breath in… and out.
Let your body settle before you begin.
Step 2 — Notice without Judgement
Gently look around.
Not to critique — just to observe.
Ask yourself:
What feels heavy, cluttered, or out of alignment?
Step 3 — Begin with One Small Area
Choose a single surface (desk, table, counter, nightstand).
Slowly begin to clear it:
-
Remove anything that doesn’t belong
-
Place items into your bag/box if unsure
-
Wipe the surface with intention
Move slowly. This is not a rush.
Step 4 — Clear with Intention
As you move items, silently or softly say:
“I release what no longer supports my peace.”
Let each motion feel like a reset — not a chore.
Step 5 — Add Back with Care
Return only what feels:
-
necessary
-
supportive
-
calming
You are not just cleaning — you are choosing your environment.
Step 6 — Seal the Space
Light your candle or pause for a breath.
Look at the space again and say:
“This space now reflects my peace
Closing Reflection
-
How does this space feel now compared to before?
-
What did you notice as you slowed down and cleared?
-
Where else in your life might be asking for this same gentle reset?
Peace is not only something you feel — it is something you create around you.
You are allowed to take up space… and shape it with intention.
